To create and maintain a clean, welcoming, and spiritually uplifting environment at the Islamic Society of Tulsa’s Masjid and Cemetery — reflecting the beauty, order, and mercy of Islam, and fostering pride, unity, and stewardship among our community members.

  2. Promote community ownership through volunteer participation and sustainable maintenance.
  3. Reflect Islamic values of cleanliness, respect for sacred spaces, and care for the environment.
  4. Establish long-term systems for upkeep and beautification.

3. Importance of the Campaign

  • Religious Significance: Islam encourages cleanliness and beauty — “Indeed, Allah is beautiful and loves beauty.” (Hadith, Muslim). Maintaining our masjid and cemetery is an act of worship and respect for Allah’s house and His creation.

A. Masjid Beautification

B. Cemetery Beautification
